We can easily create addon domain in cpanel:
  • Login to cpanel.
  • Click on "Addon domain" under 'domains' section.
  • Here enter your domain name and also you can choose your document root according to your need.
  • And click on "Add Domain".
  • This will create a folder in public_html folder for your domain.
You can easily create addon domain in cpanel with above steps but if you need detailed description then you have to check its article.

To create an addon domain, perform the following steps:
  1. Log in to your cPanel.
  2. From the Domains section, click on Addon Domains.
  3. Enter the domain name you would like.
  4. The Subdomain and Document Root fields will be auto-generated. Therefore, the default auto-generated values are recommended.
  5. To create an FTP account associated with the addon domain, click the checkbox next to that option.
  6. Enter a username that you’ll recognize later as associated with this domain.
  7. Enter a strong password for the FTP account.
  8. Click Add Domain.
You can also set up a new account for your addon domain under the email settings in cPanel. Choose an email address from the Mail section, then choose the addon domain from a pull-down menu on the setup screen.
