How to Create Email Account in cPanel Control Panel?

  • Firstly, log in to your cPanel control panel ->Go to Email section -> Email Accounts menu.
  • Choose the domain name that you want your email account to be associated with, and enter the Email and Password of your preference.
  • Also, you can select Mailbox Quota as per your hosting plan.
  • Click on the Create Account button once you fill up all fields with the required data.
  • Done.

If you are a cpanel user then you can easily create email account in cpanel:
  • Login to cpanel.
  • Click on "Email Accounts" under "Email" section.
  • Here you will find "Create" button, click on it.
  • Enter all your details regarding email account and click on "create" button.
You can also create email account via SSH, all the email accounts details are stored in /home/$user/etc/$domain/passwd with its shadow file. So if you can enter the same details in that file, then your email account will be created. But the simplest way is it create email account through cpanel.

The steps for generating email accounts for your primary domain, addon domains, and subdomains are the same. Email accounts cannot be created using a script or SSH.
