Hey,

The File Transfer Protocol (FTP) is a popular method for transferring files between computers, both locally and remotely.
Because of its ability to queue and transfer large batches of files, support paused and resumed transfers, limit transfer rates, and more, FTP is a versatile and popular choice.
Many web browsers natively support FTP transfers, and dedicated FTP client applications are available for all major operating systems. Filezilla, which is available for Windows, Mac OS, and Linux, is a popular choice.

Steps to Follow:
  • Login to cPanel
  • From the top navigation bar, select My cPanel.
  • Click the FTP Accounts icon under Files.
  • cPanel FTP Accounts
  • Scroll all the way down to the FTP Accounts section.
  • When your account was created, one or more FTP accounts were probably pre-configured for you. You can use these accounts to connect to your server, or you can scroll up to create a new FTP account.
  • Once your FTP account has been created, click Configure FTP Client to view your credentials.

You can easily upload files via FTP account. You can use any FTP software like Winscp, filezilla etc.
I always prefer Winscp software to upload files.
You can create FTP account in cpanel:
Login to cpanel >> FTP Account >> Here you can create new account

After creating your FTP account you have to configure your account in FTP. You can check this about FTP connections.

Uploading and Downloading Files using Filmizilla

1. Consider using your computer's built-in FTP software. Both Windows and Mac computers have built-in options which allow you to upload and download FTP files. It isn't necessary if you already downloaded and installed FileZilla, but it provides a quick way to upload and download files if you don't need to connect to or run your FTP server.

2. Navigate your local directories. On the left side of the window, you will see two frames for navigating through your local folders. It will allow you to choose files to upload or locations for downloads.
  • You can type in an exact location in the bar at the top of the right side.
3. Upload a file to the server. Please navigate to the file or folder you want to upload on the left side of the window, then find a folder to which you'll upload it on the right side. If you have permission to upload a file to the FTP server, you can click and drag the file from the left side to the right side to begin uploading.
  • Most public FTPs will not allow anonymous users to upload files.
  • Uploads will typically take longer than downloads of the same size.
4. Track your transfers. You can watch your transfers in the bottom frame of the window. You will see a list of files you are transferring and have queued, along with their size, priority, and percent completion. You can also see you are failed and completed transfers using the Failed transfers and Successful transfers tabs at the bottom of the window.

5. Create your server. You can use Windows to create your own FTP server from which other users can connect and upload files.

Yes Of course,

Don't worry, i will show you how to use Filezilla to transfer files via FTP.
The File Transfer Protocol (FTP) is a popular way for moving data between computers, both locally and remotely.

1. FTP access to your HostPapa server requires a username and password. Before you may connect to the server, you must configure your FTP client with these credentials.

-Log in to your HostPapa Dashboard.
-Select My cPanel from the top navigation bar.
-Under Files, click the FTP Accounts icon.
-Scroll down to FTP Accounts.
-When your account was created, one or more FTP accounts were likely pre-configured for you. You can connect to your server using these accounts, or you can create a new FTP account by scrolling up the page.
-After you've created your FTP account, click Configure FTP Client to see your credentials.

Login to your Server

To enter your FTP account information, open Filezilla and go to File > Site Manager.

-Hostname/Server Name: Your domain name preceded by an FTP prefix (for example, mydomain.com).
-Port: Typically, port 21 is used for FTP connections to the server.
-Logon: If prompted, adjust the logon type to Normal rather than Anonymous.
-User: Enter the name of your FTP user account.
-Password: Enter the password for your FTP account.

Upload your files using FileZilla

When you connect in to the FTP server, you'll see two windows on the screen. The files and folders on your local computer are displayed in the left pane, while the contents of the distant machine are displayed in the right pane.

-Navigate to and select the files and folders you want to upload to the server in the left pane. Most FTP programmes allow you to start an upload by simply dragging files from one window to the other.
-Alternatively, pick the files, right-click, and then choose Upload.
