Is Biodegradable Plastic Business Easy to Start? License & Approval Confusion

Hello everyone,

I’ve been thinking about starting a biodegradable plastic business license because of the rising demand for eco-friendly products. But I’m honestly confused about the licensing part.

Some people say it’s easier than regular plastic manufacturing, while others say there are still many approvals required.

I would really like to understand:

• Do biodegradable plastic units still need Pollution Control Board NOC?
• What certifications are required to prove products are biodegradable?
• Is CPCB registration necessary?
• Are there any special rules under the plastic waste management guidelines?

I want to start small but don’t want to face any legal issues later

If anyone here has already started this business or has knowledge about the process, please share your experience. Your guidance will really help beginners like me.
